Manufactured at our facility in Cairo, GA, our plates are precision cut and bent from 1/2” thick Ultra High Molecular Weight (UHMW) polyethylene sheets, offering our skid plates and rock sliders superior strength to the stock OEM or an aftermarket aluminum skid plate. The 1/2” thick UHMW features impressive resistance to denting, gouging, and rusting caused by blunt edge impacts or sliding over obstacles.  A typical OEM plate’s material has a tensile strength of roughly 4500 PSI, while Seizmik’s UHMW material has a tensile strength of 7010 PSI.  And Seizmik’s plates are 4x thicker than the average OEM plate.

Installation is made easier with less drilling required thanks to the use of existing OEM mounting points and glass filled nylon frame clamps with brass inserts.  Easy to handle sections piece together to cover the entire undercarriage of the vehicle, including the front and rear differentials.  The corrosion resistant mounting hardware is recessed below the plate’s surface, protecting the fasteners from damage. 

Like to spend some time in the mud? Not a problem!
